This season of my life has been all about rain, in so many forms. I drafted another post a couple of months ago detailing all the specific incidents that have been befalling my life having to do with rain, but I don't think I'm going to post it now. (Though, as you fine readers of mine perhaps noticed, the current background of my blog is a photograph of rain, which I changed a few weeks before writing that post.) Suffice it to say that rain has been very much an overarching theme in my life the last few months—astoundingly so, when I really stop and look at it all. Rain in songs, rain in art, rain in real-time weather, rain in Bible study, rain in prophetic words. And not just mine, but other people's, too, that they share. I keep meaning to research it, pray about it, that sort of thing. It's so crazy. It's got my attention, and if it's God—and I assume it is, considering all the contexts in which it keeps cropping up—I am extremely curious to know what He's trying to say before it's past.
*Amidst the stressful scholastic wrath of the mid-semester point, I do plan to write a follow-up to this post, within the next month or so at the latest.*
